2012 Debut Author Challenge

So, I'm excited to participate in The Story Siren's 2012 Debut Author Challenge. I'm challenging myself to read at least 12 debut MG or YA books in 2012.

I'm most excited about two books debuting in February.

    Hi Allyson, I like an awesome heroine too. Yes, I've dropped by your blog before! Sorry for just chattering on tonight, I am oh, so much more awkward than you. ;) Anyway I will give these titles a look. My debut novels this year are: Audition by Stasia Kehoe, Ashfall by Mike Mullin, upcoming Summer of No Regrets by Katherine Grace Bond...Some years I read stacks of new novels and some years no.

    Hi Allyson! Hope you're doing well. It was nice to see you at Mary's book signing. Laura/Lynne had a great presentation at this month's meeting about setting and keeping goals--a real kick in the pants which I totally needed.

    I finally read Sisters Red (which you recommended) and enjoyed it. I especially liked how she dealt with the Scarlet/Silas relationship at the end, since I was all prepared to be upset about it, and then she forestalled me :)

    Looking forward to your updates on debut authors this year!

    How's the editing going?
